NMEA 2000 Marine Integration

NMEA 2000 communication enables the battery to become part of the vessel's intelligent onboard electrical network instead of operating as an isolated battery pack.

Real-Time Battery Monitoring

Compatible marine displays can show battery state of charge, voltage, temperature and remaining runtime.

One-Touch Battery Control

Battery control can be integrated with compatible displays and communication hardware according to the final system configuration.

Automatic Battery Networking

Compatible multi-battery systems can automatically establish battery networking and coordinate operation without complex manual configuration.

Victron System Integration

Communication integration can be developed for compatible Victron-based marine energy systems.

Communication Available According to Final Protocol Configuration
CCL Charge Current Limit Communication Available
CVL Charge Voltage Limit Communication Available

High-Power Marine Equipment

Short-duration high-current capability allows the battery to support demanding marine loads when the complete electrical system is correctly engineered.

200A Continuous Output

Suitable for substantial onboard auxiliary loads and compatible inverter systems.

400A for 60 Seconds

Supports compatible short-duration equipment with elevated current requirements.

Up to 1800A for 10 Seconds

High peak-current capability for properly matched marine electrical equipment.

Parallel Marine Battery Banks

Parallel Connection Up to 8 Batteries on Reference Configuration
Series Connection Not Supported on Reference Configuration
Networking Automatic Networking Available for Compatible Systems

Battery voltage, state of charge, cabling, protection and busbar design must be correctly matched before connecting multiple batteries in parallel.

Optional Low-Temperature Heating

A self-heating system can be configured for marine applications that require battery charging in low-temperature environments.

Self-Heating: Optional

Heating power and control thresholds are confirmed according to the final cell, BMS and charging-system configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this battery support NMEA 2000?

NMEA 2000 communication can be configured for compatible marine displays and onboard systems.

Can it integrate with Victron equipment?

Victron integration can be developed when the required BMS communication and system protocol are confirmed.

How many batteries can be connected in parallel?

The reference configuration supports up to eight batteries in parallel. Final battery-bank design must also consider cables, busbars, protection and system current.

Can batteries be connected in series?

Series connection is not supported on the reference 12.8V 220Ah NMEA 2000 configuration.

Can it power a bow thruster or winch?

Yes, after confirming the equipment current profile. The reference battery provides 400A for 60 seconds and up to 1800A for 10 seconds.

Is 20kW the continuous output?

No. Up to 20kW refers to short-duration maximum high-power capability. Continuous output depends on the battery, BMS, cabling and complete electrical-system design.
