Protect from improper handling.
Do not storage / expose the battery to direct sunlight, in places where they may be exposed to rain, excessive heat such as radiators or heaters.
Batteries stored in well-ventilated and dry environment, ideally enclosed in a protective case.
During storage, keep the temperature within the range according to the specifications of a particular article.
Do not mix with other materials.
Do not stack cardboard box with batteries. When stacking may cause deformation of the battery in the lower layers and the subsequent flow of electrolyte.
For additional transportation / handling and packing materials, choose the method of packaging to prevent unintentional electrical contact and corrosion terminals, providing protection against environmental influences and mechanical damage.
Considerate handling of the boxes. Rough handling can cause a short circuit or damage.
Ensure proper circulation of stocks, follow FIFO system (First In, First Out).
Check the voltage of the cell every 2 month. Charge the cell if the voltage dropped to a minimum value of voltage

The batteries used to store solar and wind energy are currently mainly lead-acid batteries. Short lifespan and low cycle number of lead acid batteries make it a weak candidate for environment and cost efficiency.
Supply of continuous source of energy on a local mode is the key issue
Solar panels do not work at night or in cloudy conditions, wind mills depend on wind conditions, power generators depend on oil supply.
Real time energy generation has to be stored to optimize domestic use with no rupture of energy and permanent control on the storage reserve level.
Storage capability must be durably reliable, eco friendly and ready to handle long short cut of power supply.
Lithium-Ion batteries allow to equip solar or wind “off-grid” power stations, replacing the legacy banks of lead-acid batteries.

Lithium-ion batteries have an energy density exceeding 150 Wh/kg. The energy density of a lead acid battery is about 20 to 30 Wh/kg.
Lithium-Ion batteries support up to 5000 thousand charge cycles and discharge unlike conventional lead batteries (about 500 cycles).

Lithium-ion batteries can withstand high ambient temperature (up to 60°C)
