Lithium ion battery has the following advantages:
1) light weight, startup for conventional lead-acid battery weight about a third of;
2) the green environmental protection, no sulfuric acid, heavy metals such as lead, cadmium and mercury pollution problem;
3) do not need to add acid, completely free maintenance, no acid leakage problem, can be installed in any direction to use, safe and reliable;
4) high power, starting current is more than 40 c (lead-acid start ratio of 10 c);
5) charging capacity is strong, can be large current fast charge, the fastest can charge the battery 10 c, 6 minutes can charge to 90% of capacity. Even after losing electricity, can fill in a short time.
6) super long cycle life, can be greater than 2000 times (lead-acid battery is commonly 300);
7) low self-discharge, long storage time and can be more than 1 year.

What is the Battery Management System (BMS) and how does it work ?
HKANON embeds a built-in BMS. This BMS is a high-tech design that manage two main aspects of battery during operation :Protection features :
Low Voltage Protection Switch – Automatically disconnects at 10.0V
Over Voltage Protection Switch – Automatically disconnects at 15.0V
Short Circuit Protection Switch – Automatically and safely disconnects battery
Reverse Polarity Protection Switch – Automatically and safely disconnects battery
Over temperature – Automatically shut-down battery until normal temperature recovery
Balancing features :
Internal cell balancing – Automatically balances HKANON cells during battery operation. Balancing algorithm has been developed to ensure perfect balance between cells throughout battery life.
Charge Balancing – for HKANON connected in parallel and/or in series, the BMS will balance each HKANON independently, in order to provide a constantly balanced battery system.
